1 p.m., Ceramic Studio, 125 South Ridge St. In this mixed media experimental workshop, students will create ceramic forms, which after firing, will then be incorporated with a variety of soft and found sculptural materials. Students will experiment with the technical challenges of combining unlike materials, as well as how to unite them in a visually cohesive final artwork.

Christmas Tree Sale

10 a.m., Breckenridge Riverwalk Center, 150 W. Adams Ave. Boy Scout Troop 187 is holding its annual Christmas Tree Sale fundraiser at the Tiger Dredge lot in Breckenridge. Tree varieties include Fraser Furs and Concolors and are available in sizes five to twelve feet. Wreaths and tree stands are also available. Funds raised through this fundraiser help scouts attend troop activities and campouts, and summer camp. (970) 547-3100.
