The Wedding Singer – Muscial Performance

7 p.m., Summit High School, 16201 Highway 9. The Wedding Singer is a lively tale of romance set in 1985, New Jersey. Join Robbie, Julia, Glen, Holly and Linda as they make their way through the big hair and big bands of the 80’s to the altar. The Wedding Singer is a musical with music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and a book by Beguelin and Tim Herlihy. It is based on the 1998 film of the same name. (970) 977-0021.

Art Around the World with Ashlie: Thailand – March of the Elephants

2 p.m., Quandary Antiques Cabin, 131 South Ridge St. Children ages seven and up will learn about the elephants of Chiang Mai and their trainers (Mahoots) and paint their journey through the dense jungles of Northern Thailand. $20, includes all materials.

A Normal Life: A Sister’s Odyssey Through Brain Injury

Lyrysa Smith, author of A Normal Life: A Sister’s Odyssey Through Brain Injury, will discuss her sister’s experience with brain injury from carbon monoxide poisoning. Meet and greet with the author. USASA Nationals

Copper Mountain, March 29

All Day, Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. The United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association National Championship is the largest snowboard and freeskiing event in the nation welcoming top amateur athletes to compete for the title of National Champion.

Snowshoe Tours

Breckenridge, March 29

11 a.m., Gold Run Nordic Center, 200 Clubhouse Drive. The Gold Run Nordic Center offers great snowshoe trails, snowshoe rentals and snowshoe tours the whole family can enjoy.
