Watercolor Workshop: Colorado Postcards

Breckenridge, April 15

3:30 p.m., Yellow Arrow Coffee, 103 S. Harris St. Fun 1 1/2 hour introductory watercolor class. In this workshop you will learn about the use of tools and materials while you create your very own watercolor postcard under the instruction of local artist Mauricio Meneses. Cost is $20, includes materials.

Oil Painting for Beginners

4 p.m., Breckenridge Arts District, 110 East Washington Ave. Learn to paint in oils, or brush up on your painting skills. This workshop will cover the basics of oil painting including color mixing, brushwork, values and composition. $45, materials list provided, or $12 material fee. (970) 453-3187.
