Colorado BBQ Challenge

Frisco, June 20

8 p.m., Main St. In addition to the opportunity to sample some of the state’s best BBQ, weekend festivities for attendees include live music, chef demonstrations, pig races and an exclusive whiskey and barbeque pairing tour. The event is free to attend, and open to the public, and attracts more than 30,000 attendees each year.



Lake Dillon Brew Fest

Dillon, June 20

7 p.m., Dillon Amphitheater, 100 Lodge Pole. The fifth annual Lake Dillon Brew Fest kicks off with One Ton Pig. Gates open for the Brew Fest at 1-5. on Saturday. The show continues at the amphitheater with local artist Local Folk taking the big stage at 5 p.m. followed at 7 p.m. by the Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Review. (970) 468-2403

Breckenridge, June 20

6 p.m., Beaver Run Resort, 620 Village Rd. The evening, taking place at the Imperial Ballroom consists of dinner, film and live movie trivia entertainment and a silent auction with some amazing featured items. The ‘Blast from the Past’ theme will include throw-back decor as well as highlighted films from the rich history to comprise 45 minutes of film entertainment during the evening.
