Today’s top five things to do in Summit County

The final installment of Dillon's Movies on the Water will be Sunday, Sept. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dillon Amphitheatre. The movie featured will be the Disney remake of "The Jungle Book." The movie will begin when the lighting is right, between 8 and 8:15 p.m. Come on down early as HawkQuest will host an interactive Q&A sponsored by the Cub Scouts, Summit’s Finest Carpet Cleaning & Restoration, Alpine Bank and Summit Ford from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Many cool birds will be on hand.

7-10 a.m., Cuppa Joe. The event is being organized by Citizens for Strong Summit Schools, a committee that helps garner community support for more funding for local schools. Each event will provide coffee and breakfast for students, parents, teachers and others in the community. Information about local school funding will also be provided during the morning meeting.
