Why do you think your business was voted the Best of Summit?

Summit Mountain Rentals was born here in Summit in 2002 to serve the community, its homeowners and guests. It all comes down to our amazing partners and staff who provide the care, consistency and passion that keep us growing and innovating in the most enjoyable way. Thanks to the amazing team and supporting cast of Summit Mountain Rentals, we are able to make vacation rentals more enjoyable for everyone.

Why is this recognition important to your business?

It feels great to be recognized by the community we serve. We are so fortunate to be here, be a part of Summit County, and to work with and meet so many incredible people in the process.

What sets your business apart?

Hospitality is all about people. We have a culture of taking care of people, and I think that’s timeless and very timely in a lot of ways.

Why did you choose this profession, and what are you most proud of?

It comes right back to people and passion. Vacation rentals connect people and place, and Summit County is an incredible place that we get to make a little more enjoyable for those we connect with. The best part is creating sustainable careers so people can fulfill their dream of living well in Summit, too.

What motivates you in your work?

RFP, or relentless forward progress, is something borrowed from skimo racing and adopted by Summit Mountain Rentals. It feels good to always be moving forward, growing and learning, and that’s just part of our DNA at Summit Mountain Rentals.
