Summit Daily field: It is a clear, cold morning out there. The snow deposited is groomed up nicely and there will be great conditions today.

Lift lines: Some will have tired legs from the storm riding, some will be very eager to get out. The cold may keep some away, the blue may bring some out. Some people have errands to run. It’s Saturday.

Weather: 24° high, 12° low and sunny

Breakdown: Peak 9 opens beginner runs. Vail opened yesterday and it was amazing. Outback at Keystone also opened yesterday. U.S. Ski Team naming at Copper.
