Pickin' On Ween; 9 p.m.; The Barkley Ballroom, Frisco. A mutual love and appreciation of the music of Ween inspired Denver and Boulder musicians to form Pickin' on Ween. Since playing its first gig a little over a year ago, Pickin' on Ween has played several shows in the Denver area. Utilizing an acoustic-based, improvisational approach, P.o.W. delivers fresh, creative arrangements that are a testament to Ween's exceptional songwriting, playing selections from each of Ween's eight studio albums. Free.

Split Window; 9:30 p.m.; The Brown Hotel, Breckenridge. Split Window is a seven-piece band from South Park, Colorado. Known for their upbeat dance music, they play an array of original and cover music ranging in genres from reggae, blues, pop, classic rock, and much more.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

Every Vote Counts Concert; 9 p.m.; The Barkley Ballroom, Frisco. A voter registration and information event. From 4-7 p.m. is happy hour with free hors d'oeuvre and live bluegrass plus a chance to meet Summit County candidates, learn about ballot initiatives (Universal Healthcare, Minimum Wage, Right to Doctor Assisted Suicide and more). A bluegrass concert by Shaky Hand String Band and Friends follows at 9 p.m.

Live Karaoke Kings; 9 p.m.; Motherloaded Tavern, Breckenridge. Choose from a catalog of over 50 songs and sing karaoke with a live band as backup. Free.

Randall McKinnon; 4:30-6:30 p.m.; Next Page Books & Nosh, Frisco. Local musician plays Living Room Concert. Free.

Thursday, Oct. 6

Jason Hann's Rhythmatronix; 9 p.m.; The Barkley Ballroom, Frisco. Future world fusion music featuring: Jason Hann (String Cheese Incident, Eoto); Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers, Dead And Company); Fareed Haque (Mathgames, Garaj Mahal); Todd Stoops (Raq); and Raul Pineda (Grammy Award Winner From Chucho Valdes).
