10th annual Corn Harvest slated for Saturday at Loveland Ski Area

Daily News staff report

To raise money for the Colorado Avalanche Information Center, Loveland Ski Area is hosting its 10th annual Corn Harvest – a celebration of spring snow.

The event combines skiing with partying – Hawaiian shirts are encouraged. Get a lift ticket and access to the party (lunch and beer included) for $60 or $30 if you already have a pass or ticket.

Lunch is slated for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the base area, which allows participants to tour Loveland with informed locals before or after grabbing a bite to eat. Beer starts flowing on the upper deck at about 3 p.m., with a raffle for ski gear and other prizes at 3:30 p.m. Registration includes a raffle ticket. Additional tickets can be purchased for $5 each.
