14-year-old boy killed in hit and run

COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police says a driver suspected of hitting and killing a 14-year-old boy before leaving the scene may have been under the influence of alcohol.Police say a car was speeding down a street early Saturday when it failed to turn and headed into a group of five teenage boys standing off the roadway. Police say four teens were able to run out of the vehicle’s path, but Graham Johnson was struck. He died at the scene.Police followed a trail of vehicle fluid to the home of 20-year-old Michael Gibbs, who was arrested. Charges are pending.
