15 years is not a short-term solution

Grace ToddIdaho Springs

Adding cement to Interstate 70 for a 15-year period is not a short-term solution, and it utterly defeats the whole idea of tourism – the one industry that this state will always have if it takes the initiative to preserve the scenery. A fast train line is the only solution for I-70 congestion that will be less destructive of the scenery, will be the fastest transportation mode and will take less time to construct. We deserve a study of this type of solution. It would certainly open up new business ventures at the resort areas. If you want to remain competitive, you must be forward thinking.
