18th annual Poker Ride to benefit Summit Fat Tire Society

The 18th annual Poker Ride takes place on Saturday, Sept 17, in Breckenridge. The $20 entry fee, which benefits the Summit Fat Tire Society, includes food, as well as prizes after your ride.Volunteers will help you find the best way to make your checkpoints on your self-directed ride, through your choice of easy or more difficult routes. Sky Terrain maps of Summit County will be provided free of charge.While you’re on your ride, you’ll have a chance to connect with folks from the Summit Fat Tire Society, who will welcome your input on trail projects for next year. The Summit Fat Tire Society is dedicated to trail maintenance, trail access and rider education.Registration takes place today between 8 and 10 a.m. This is a non-competitive ride, so there is no official “start” time – you just need to turn in your hand at Great Adventure by 1 p.m.For more information, or to volunteer for trail projects and more, visit the Summit Fat Tire Society website at www. sfts.us
