2009 Philantropy awards nominations due


The Summit Foundation is currently accepting nominations for Summit County Philanthropy awards. Nominations are being accepted in recognition of outstanding philanthropic and volunteer contributions in ten categories.

The categories are Outstanding Philanthropist, Outstanding Volunteer, Outstanding Board Member, Outstanding Educator, Outstanding Professional in a Nonprofit Organization, Outstanding youth, Outstanding Citizen, Outstanding Nonprofit Organization and Outstanding business. A new category has been added this year of Outstanding Youth Mentor. This is your opportunity to recognize and thank those who have demonstrated outstanding support and community involvement.

Deadline for entry: No later than noon on Oct. 16. Deliver to The Summit Foundation, 111 A Lincoln Ave., Breckenridge; or mail to: P.O. Box 4000, Breckenridge, CO 80424. Nomination forms and criteria are available from The Summit Foundation website http://www.summitfoundation.org under the “About Us” tab or by calling The Summit Foundation at (970) 453-5970.
