2011 Summit County Wildfire Council Hazardous Fuels Reduction Grant workshops tonight

The Summit County Wildfire Council invites homeowners to learn more about the 2011 Hazardous Fuels Reduction Grant Program. This grant program provides assistance to eligible homeowner groups, allowing residents to conduct hazardous fuels reduction in their neighborhoods. Effective fuels reduction projects help protect Summit communities and watersheds from the threat of wildfire.

The wildfire council is holding a workshop tonight from 4:30-6 in the Mount Royal Room at the County Commons, 37 Peak One Dr. in Frisco, to help applicants prepare effective fuels reduction plans and grant applications.
