2014 Summit County’s best golf course: Breckenridge Golf Course
The only public, 27-hole, Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course in the world, Breckenridge Golf Course provides a test for every level of golfer. Nestled at 9,324 feet above sea level, the course has been named the toughest mountain course by “Colorado Golfer” magazine, and its pro shop has earned a spot in “America’s 100 Best” by Golf Shop Operations. From the rolling greens to the variety of wildlife seen about the course, Breckenridge Golf Club has everything a golfer could want, including the Clubhouse Restaurant, which offers appetizers, meals and cocktails on a spacious deck.
