3A and 3B will support the future

JACKI ENGEL

On Nov. 2, the people of Summit County will make choices about our future and things will change. If the people vote yes on the mill levy/bond issue, the change in the educational environment will be a positive one. Schools in need of renovation and maintenance will get what they need. Programs aimed at career and technology will keep kids excited for the future. Our teachers will be supported and appreciated with a positive learning environment. If the people vote no on the mill/levy bond issue the change in the educational environment will be drastic. Badly needed maintenance and renovations will not get done. Twenty-seven teachers will be cut as a result of an 11.6 percent reduction in all levels of staffing. Existing programs that the children love like sports, physical education, Spanish and Ace, may be cut entirely. Let’s make a change for the better; vote yes on 3A and 3B. The future depends on you.
