Over 300 girls, with an additional 300 participants, dressed in spirit and ran for the 4th annual Girls on the Run 5k event despite windy and snowy conditions along Lake Dillon Saturday morning — a stark contrast to the warm, T-shirt weather a year ago. The fun run was the celebration of the nonprofit program Girls on the Run, seeking to inspire girls with a healthy, experience-based 10-week curriculum blended with running.
