A good read suggested on imperialism

I’m writing regarding Chris Jocelyn’s recent letter where it was asserted that “The U.S. is the most imperialistic country the world has ever seen S.”

Forgetting ancient civilizations such as the Roman Empire, just since America was founded the U.S. could never claim to exceed the imperialism of Russia, Japan, England, France, Spain and other European countries.

I suggest reading Max Boot’s, “The Savage Wars of Peace, Small Wars and the Rise of American Power.”

It was a “Best Book of 2002” for both the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times, and details America’s adventures abroad, and the reasons why, from 1801 through the 1990s.

Anyone open to the truth, and not just repeatedly spouting falsehoods in hopes they become “the truth,” will be enlightened.
