A Halloween package for our Summit County Troops

The Rotary Club of Summit County is making sure that our Summit County troops, serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, have a taste of Halloween! Among other things our Halloween packages contained Halloween candy, popcorn balls, microwave popcorn, jerky, cookies, fruit jellies made from real fruit juice, trail mix and almonds. All good stuff, but we also included tooth brushes to clean all of it up (thanks Dr Jeff Gourley), toothpaste and a razor.

The Rotary Club of Summit County sends packages every two months to soldiers with ties to Summit County. We need you to tell us if you have a relative who is serving our nation abroad. Send contact details to SummitRotary@aol.com or call Al or Liz Wickert at (970) 453-4778. We love saying thank you to our brave troops.

Donations to help support this effort may be sent to the Rotary Club of Summit County, PO Box 4401, Frisco, CO 80443. Please write “Troop Support ” on your check. Thank you.
