A run for fun

Summit Daily/Brad Odekirk A crowd of nearly 100 runners and walkers took off with their curs for the 4 kilometer run Saturday to benefit LAPS - A League for People and Pets of Summit County.

Some sprinted, some walked, but all came out for a bit of High Country fun for a good cause Saturday morning – 113 dogs lined up with friends and owners at the Frisco Town Hall to run in the annual K9 4K fun run to benefit LAPS – League for People and Animals of the Summit. LAPS president Sally Beerup said the event raised nearly $8,000 this year and wanted to thank the many people who made the event possible.
