A simple CMC solution

The debate over Frisco’s 9.4-acre parcel would seem to have an elegant and simple solution: Build a two-story complex.Retail rarely builds two-story structures for fear of customers being too lazy to visit the shops upstairs, but it would seem a perfect place for the CMC campus. Shoppers could enter from the front, students from the rear. Neither group would interfere with the other by having designated entrances and parking. As long as we are considering options, how about three floors, with affordable housing for students and local workers on the top? With the possible exception of a handful of homes along property borders, the view corridor would not be obstructed since it would not be any taller than the hotels nearby. It seems a terrible waste to consume the entire parcel with yet another single story structure. Land is too scarce for such luxuries.
