Adaptive Action Sports to host watch party for banked slalom event

The Paralympic snowboard banked slalom event that was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 12, has been moved to Thursday, March 10, at 8 p.m. due to inclement weather in Beijing at the 2022 Paralympic Winter Games.

With the rescheduling of the event, Adaptive Action Sports Executive Director Daniel Gale decided to open the watch party up to the public.

The event will take place at 7:30 p.m., at The Pad in Silverthorne, 491 Rainbow Drive. The event is free and will feature appetizers and an open bar.

The banked slalom event will feature all five of the Adaptive Action Sport athletes present at the 2022 Paralympic Games, including recent snowboard cross silver medalist Garrett Geros.

Organizers are encouraging participants to make a $20 donation to the Adaptive Action Sports team. Email for reservations.
