Adding boards for safety is good idea for terrain park

I, too, support the Breckenridge Planning Commission’s decision against commercial advertising in the ski area’s terrain park.

But Pete Isert’s idea of adding boards under the terrain park rails for safety purposes is a great one. In the past, I have been tangled up underneath those rails more than a couple of times.

Planning Commissioner Eric Mamula’s idea of advertising for the town of Breckenridge on these boards is also a good one. I understand this will not generate any direct money for the resort, but wouldn’t promoting Breckenridge on national TV indirectly bring money to the town and to the resort, while making the rails safer for boarders like myself?
