Adopt an Angel ornaments hung on trees throughout the county

The Adopt an Angel gift-giving program for local kids in need is in full-swing.Ornaments are hung on trees at all local police departments, the sheriff’s office inside the Breckenridge Justice Center, Peak-A-Boo Toys in Breckenridge, Jim Hudson Chevrolet in Silverthorne, and Wal-Mart. The ornament that you pick up will tell you the age and gender of who you are shopping for. Unwrapped gifts can be dropped off to any local police department, sheriff’s office, fire department, or Jim Hudson Chevrolet in Silverthorne. Gifts must be returned by Dec. 16.The shopping event will be held on Dec. 21 at the old Silverthorne Elementary School at 465 Brian Ave. and the Breckenridge Rec. Center from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. All parents in need are invited to select gifts for their children.To volunteer or if you have any questions, please call the Silverthorne Police Department at 970-262-7320.Adopte a un ngelLos padres necesitados están invitados al “evento de compras” gratis.
