Advocates for Victims of Assault say thanks

Advocates for Victims of Assault would like to thank Walmart, our community and Joe Staufer from the Dillon Police Department who showed their gracious support in collecting items for our Safe House on June 25 at Walmart. A special shout-out to Lisa and Aaron at Walmart for assisting in organizing this event. We were able to collect a tremendous amount of much-needed supplies for our safe house and several hundred dollars in additional support. We are so grateful for the support of our Summit County community!

As a Summit Daily News reader, you make our work possible.

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
