Summit County Advocates for Victims of Assault

On Sept. 16, the Hearthstone held its 11th Annual Winemaker’s Dinner and donated the proceeds of the event to the Advocates for Victims of Assault. As the beneficiaries of the dinner, we would like to thank all of the people in the community who provided their support. In addition to those who attended the dinner and donated to our silent auction, we would like to say a very special “Thank You” to the staff and owners of the Hearthstone Restaurant. The dinner was beautiful and the service impeccable. We are grateful to be chosen as this year’s recipient of the proceeds for your dinner. Additionally, we would like to thank Joel Butler and the Beaulieu Vineyard Winery for supplying their incredible wines, as well as those others who contributed to the success of our fundraiser: the Summit Daily News; High Country Radio; Krystal 93; KSMT; Pinnacle Distributing; the Plant Man and City Market. This was our most successful fundraiser ever, with more than $18,000 that will be used specifically for the continuing shelter services in our community.
