Affordable high school backcountry adventure offered

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Gore Range Natural Science School is seeking students entering 10th through 12th grade who are motivated to participate in a new program, Ridge to River: A Backcountry Mountain Adventure, taking place July 1621 near Vail. This program is funded by a generous, local donor who wants to make a difference in the lives of teens. Families are asked to commit $50 toward a nonrefundable registration fee. GRNSS is selecting students through a competitive application process. The application form is available on the front page of the Gore Range website, http://www.gorerange.org.
