ALCC awards go to Summit contractors


Two Summit County homes were just a few of the innovative Colorado panoramas honored by the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado (ALCC), the state’s top landscape industry association.Silverthorne-based landscape contractor Alpine Gardens, Inc. won an award in the single family residential landscape maintenance category for their work at a residence in Breckenridge. An award for excellence went to Silverthorne-based Neils Lunceford, Inc. in the water feature category for their work at a Breckenridge residence.Colorado’s landscape professionals were recognized for creating beautiful and creative landscapes found at homes and businesses throughout the state at ALCC’s 2004 Excellence in Landscape awards banquet on Jan. 12.ALCC’s competition is the only program of it’s kind in Colorado. These annual awards recognize showcase landscapes across the state that are constructed, irrigated, renovated and maintained by ALCC members.
