Alfred Martin dies at 74

BRECKENRIDGE – Alfred R. Martin of Breckenridge died March 14 at his home at the age of 74.

Martin, formerly of Monterey, Calif., was born March 5, 1930.

He graduated Santa and attended the University of California at Los Angeles school of business. After college he served in the Air Force for five years and attended Air Officers Candidate School.

A devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, his illustrious career included living in Spain and traveling the world with companies such as RAND, SDC, Unysis and Loral.

He is survived by his wife Sheila; daughters Shelly, Denise, Renee and Jackie; son Roger; and 12 grandchildren. A Rosary and funeral Mass were held in California.

Memorial contributions may be made in Martin’s name to the GIST Cancer Research Fund, 55 Saw Mill Road, New York City, NY 10956.
