DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

The High Country Conservation Center and the Governor’s Energy Office are hosting an all-day presentation on Energy Star New Homes. This event is part of an eight-stop tour across Colorado for Sam Rashkin, the EPA’s national director for Energy Star New Homes, and Gord Cooke, president of Building Knowledge. Join Rashkin and Cooke as they discuss designing, building and selling energy-efficient homes that earn the Energy Star. Take this unique opportunity to learn more about all the features associated with an Energy Star Qualified New Home and expand your knowledge about all the benefits, not only for your clients, but for your business as well.

Seven Continuing Education Units are available for Realtors. The event is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday at the Silverthorne Pavilion. Admission is $25 and includes lunch. For more info or to register, call Jenny Stein at (970) 668-5703 or e-mail: jenny@high
