Allard to hold town meeting May 28

SILVERTHORNE – U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard, R-Colo., will hold a Summit County town meeting from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at the Silverthorne Town Hall in the town council chambers.

“I want to extend an invitation to everyone in Silverthorne, Frisco, Dillon, Breckenridge and Summit County to attend a very informal community meeting,” Allard said. “This is a chance for citizens to visit one-on-one with me about issues important to them.”

Allard is a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, where he chairs the Strategic Forces Subcommittee; the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, where he chairs the Housing and Transportation Subcommittee; the Senate Budget Committee; and the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.

The meeting is part of Allard’s pledge to hold at least one town meeting in each of Colorado’s 64 counties annually.

Services set for Dene Campbell

BRECKENRIDGE – Graveside inurement services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Valley Brook Cemetery for Aldene “Dene” Handley Campbell of Breckenridge.

Campbell died Nov. 11 at Bear Creek Nursing Center in Morrison.
