An open letter to Denver Water

It is quite disappointing that Denver Water chooses to further add to the paranoia and fear of the 21st century. I understand the need for vigilance. However, this is another example of taking extreme and outlandish measures.

Thus it gives those who would do us harm yet another victory without their putting forth an iota of effort. Their triumph is in greatly inconveniencing many people, creating the loss of a great beautiful resource, and compromising public safety. While it costs them nothing, it costs us heavily.

This issue goes way beyond the actions of Denver Water. Just go to any airport to see how we pay the price of paranoia daily. Look at the civil liberties we have allowed to be taken from us.

Denver Water and others, please consider how the bad guys win when you make these choices.
