Annual Rural is Rad week comes back to the High Country
Rural is Rad will host its 2nd Annual Rural is Rad Week kicking off on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30, and running until Dec. 7th. Rural is Rad Week celebrates and supports rural outdoor brands in Colorado and helps consumers discover new brands. It will feature special discounts, unique product releases and in-person events at participating retailers, breweries and more.
Summit County-based Kelly Mazanti, founder of clothing brand Buttnski, said in a recent news release the goal of Rural is Rad Week is to drive revenue for rural businesses, provide an alternative to shopping “big” and build a year-round community between the businesses and the customers.
People can support brands through buying from a local independent retailer, booking an experience with a guide and outfitter or buying online directly from the brand’s website.

The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.
