Skiers and riders currently have a chance to take home a piece of Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. The Summit County ski area is currently hosting a sale and chair auction where avid skiers and riders can buy sections of the old Pallavicini lift haul rope and bid on the final two chairs.
Haul rope must be ordered online and picked up on-site at Arapahoe Basin. Purchasers will be contacted via email after purchase to schedule pick up. The haul rope will be sold in 3-foot-pieces for $20 with additional pieces being sold for $2 per foot.
All profits from the auction for the last two old Pallavicini chairs will be split evenly between the Summit County Care Clinic, The Summit Foundation, Family & Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC) and Summit County Cares Emergency Fund.
Haul rope can be purchased at Store.ArapahoeBasin.com with the online auctions taking place from Sept. 15-29 and Sept. 30-Oct. 14 at EBid.net.
