Arapahoe Basin & Loveland 2010-2011 season passes on sale

SUMMIT COUNTY – Season passes for next season at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area are now on sale, and Loveland Ski Area will begin its pass sales April 5.The 2010-2011 season passes for both ski areas will be available on-site, online and over the phone, and both also provide unlimited skiing and riding for the remainder of the 2009-2010 season.Loveland is scheduled to close on Sunday, May 2, and A-Basin’s final day is scheduled for June 6, depending on weather.Loveland’s adult pass early-bird prices are the same as last year’s – $349 for adults. A-Basin has upped its adult Bonus Pass spring price by $20 to $359.The Arapahoe Basin Bonus pass includes five days at Keystone or Breckenridge, with one of those days valid at Vail or Beaver Creek. A-Basin also offers an A-Basin-only pass that costs $299 this spring for adults. All A-Basin passes include five days of skiing at Bear Valley in California and one day of unguided skiing at Silverton. Loveland’s pass includes three days at Monarch Mountain and, new this season, three days at Durango Mountain Resort.”When you talk about value and skiing, some people might argue that the two don’t go together. But that’s not the case at Loveland,” said Rob Goodell, director of business operations.The spring prices are valid through May 31 at Loveland and through April 30 at A-Basin.A-Basin will now allow passholders to link a credit card to their season passes to charge at on-mountain restaurants, retail, rental and lesson locations.
