Arapahoe Basin Ski Area opens top-to-bottom skiing, uphill access

The Lenawee Express is open and shuttling skiers and snowboarders to Arapahoe Basin Ski Area’s upper mountain as of Saturday, according to a blog post by COO Alan Henceroth.
The expansion opened up Lenawee Face and Dercum’s Gulch with “a very good snow surface,” Henceroth wrote.
“The trails are a bit narrow. Keep your eyes open for hidden and unmarked obstacles,” Henceroth said. “Take your time, ski responsibly and enjoy your time in the high Alpine.”
The snowmaking team will now focus its efforts on opening Molly Hogan so that beginners and the ski area’s Snowsports School have better service.
With the terrain opening, A-Basin announced that uphill access is now open to the summit, though uphill access is only open before and after operating hours.
