Ski patrollers at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area are seeking to unionize, according to an announcement released Monday, Nov. 18.

If the petition is finalized, A-Basin ski patrol believes the union will guarantee its members have a voice at the negotiation table.

A-Basin ski patrol announced the news on a new union Instagram account Monday, stating it hopes it can work closely with management to ensure ski patrollers receive the benefits, compensation and respect they deserve.

A-Basin ski patrol filed the petition under the United Professional Ski Patrol of America Local 7781.
