Armed men rob Edwards business, tie up clerk

EDWARDS – The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery at Ace Cash Express located at 429 Edwards Spur Road Saturday morning.

The two suspects are described as Spanish speaking Hispanic males, medium build, wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks over their faces. The suspects were armed with handguns. The clerk was bound and the suspects left with an undermined amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident. Witnesses believe the suspects were last seen running to the east toward Wendy’s Restaurant. The suspects were seen in the area before the business opened.
