Arts Council extends thanks

The Summit County Arts Council would like to give a big thank you for all who made the fourth annual Summit Snowflake Championship a success. Thank you to the town of Breckenridge for giving us the opportunity for our students to participate in the International Winterfest event of learning the art of snow sculpting. Our thanks to the Summit County school staff in helping with the coordinating efforts. We also would like to thank Simone Betz, Summit Day Camps director, for all her assistance in putting together a team representing all elementary schools. A special thank you to the Riverwalk staff and the Summit Foundation for their assistance in making this the best International experience for our Summit County students.International teams, we thank you for visiting our children in the schools. The students and school teachers enjoyed your visit.Our thanks and much appreciation to the town of Breckenridge, Breckenridge Resort Chamber, Krystal 93 and Lasergraphics.A special thank you to Swan Mountain Christmas for assisting us with the children awards and trophies. Also, thank you to our award trophy artist, Robert Folmer, who created the beautiful snowflake medallions.Our thanks to Al and Marianne Bednarz, Hamish Wood, Shawn McAtamney and many others as their help was immeasurable.
