Vail Oktoberfest returns this weekend for three more days of the world’s most popular party done Vail-style. In addition to Bavarian music and dancing, traditional fare, yodeling, alpenhorn blowing and beverages from Beck’s and Jagermeister, the weekend’s festivities will include the Official Oktoberfest After Party at the Swiss Chalet tonight, a free concert on Saturday night from Mad Dog & the Smokin J’s and crowd favorites Beck’s Keg Bowling and the Klement’s Bratwurst Eating Contests. “There was a great turnout for the Vail Oktoberfest last weekend in Lionshead,” said Jeff Brausch of Highline Sports & Entertainment, the festival’s producer. “There is more Bavarian entertainment, traditional food and, of course, beer on deck for this weekend in addition to beautiful weather in the forecast. We’re on course for another fabulous Oktoberfest party in Vail Village.” For more info, visit http://www.vail-okotberfest.com.
