Arts fair to showcase recycled materials

A unique arts and crafts fair showcasing the work of artists and crafters that have mastered turning reclaimed material (a.k.a. recycled, reused, trash, junk, etc.) as well as natural materials into exquisite works of art is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Summit County Community and Senior Center near Frisco.There will be bags made from reclaimed fabric, birdhouses made from wood scraps, handmade paper, furniture made from old skis and many more creative surprises. The Summit Recycling Project, sponsor of the fair, is looking for crafters working in such media for the fair.For a registration packet, e-mail or call (970) 668-5703.
