Artwork for Breckenridge’s Oktoberfest

Daily News staff report

The Breckenridge Resort Chamber is accepting submissions of artwork through March 18 that could be used for the 17th annual Breckenridge Oktoberfest in September.

Concept sketches, no larger than 14 by 17 inches, are due by 5 p.m. Friday, March 18 to the BRC offices at 111 Ski Hill Rd in Breckenridge. A panel of judges will select a winning design to appear on steins and promotional materials for the 2011 Oktoberfest. Artists are asked to use a limited color palette so designs can be adapted to steins, clothing and vector art.

The winner will be required to submit final art in a poster size of 14 by 17 inches and will receive a prize package.

Submissions can be mailed to the Breckenridge Resort Chamber, attention special events at P.O. Box 1909, Breckenridge, CO 80424.

Questions about the contest can be directed to Sally Croker at (970) 453-5074 or scroker@gobreck.com.
