At a loss on the sexual orientation ordinance

In response to the Nov. 9 article “Breckenridge to consider sexual orientation clause,” I am at a loss to understand why this needs to be incorporated into a town ordinance. It is very doubtful to assume that a town with such policies in place would in any way whatsoever benefit tourism and business in Breckenridge. Speaking on behalf of equal opportunity, I would hope the town would keep in mind the possibility of civil rights violations in the effect of sexual harassment lawsuits from nonhomosexual individuals against homosexual individuals. Is there a sexual harassment policy in place to address this issue?
