Theres something refreshingly quaint about the idea of this decades-old girl detective today, and rising actress Emma Roberts makes her an easy character to root for. While on an extended business trip to Los Angeles with her lawyer father, Nancy stumbles upon a mystery in the Hollywood Hills mansion theyre renting. PG for mild violence, thematic elements, brief language. 90 min.

As the Silver Surfer races around the globe wreaking havoc, Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben must unravel the mystery of the Silver Surfer and confront the surprising return of their mortal enemy, Dr. Doom, before all hope is lost. PG for sequences of action violence, some mild language, innuendo.

When his frogger-in-law, King Harold, suddenly croaks, Shrek is quickly fitted for the crown. Now, unless the reluctant would-be king can find a suitable replacement, hell be royally screwed for the rest of his days. PG for some crude humor, suggestive content and swashbuckling action. 86 min.

PG-13 for intense sequences of action/adventure violence and some frightening images. 165 min.
