Attitude adjustment time

Troy L. Bunch Breckenridge

Thank you Lisa Knobel for your expressions in your letter of Jan. 28.You so eloquently expressed what must be the position taken by our “citizens.”Let us put the pre- and postelection feelings behind us and unite as a nation in support of the beliefs in freedom for ourselves and any other country that desires freedom.I feel the expressions made by the citizens of Iraq (such a diverse group) speaks volumes on its own. They have shown us that freedom is in the hearts of people in parts of the world many Americans have limited knowledge of due to our geographic location and other factors.I did serve in Turkey, Iran, Lebanon and other countries during my military career, and I am fully supportive of what “W” has taken on and his re-election supports my position. This should have commenced after the 1993 WTC bombing and other provocations under our former president.I put forth to the citizens of Summit County and the nation as a whole, this is a key time in our world community.Let us come together in support of what the majority of our voters stated as their position. We are not forcing our lifestyle on “them,” we’re giving them the opportunity to express their feelings and choose their own direction. This they have done during the first election in an Arab country. That election makes a statement that cannot be questioned by anyone. I’m sorry your vehicle suffered damage by someone who needs to visit a psychiatrist.
