COLORADO SPRINGS ” A premature baby boy who weighed just 1 pound, 3 ounces at birth has gone home from a Colorado Springs hospital, tipping the scales at a relatively hefty 5 pounds.

Ricardo Morales-Coronado was born in June at just 23 weeks. Doctors say babies born that early have a 25 percent chance of surviving.
