Back-to-School Swim Party a success

The Summit Learning Center offers academic assistance for kindergarten to adult learners. We would like to thank the following businesses for their support of the Back-to-School Swim Party.Thank you to the Silverthorne Recreation Center for allowing us to have the fundraiser there. On Sept. 5, middle school students swam, ate and won prizes from 6-9 p.m. High School students swam, ate and won prizes from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. GMAC Mortgage, McDonald’s in Silverthorne, Domino’s in Silverthorne, Pepsi in Kremmling, City Market in Dillon and Safeway in Frisco were sponsors.Thank you to the following businesses for donating items for our prizes: Trans-Lux Theatres, Clint’s Bakery and Coffee House, Mountain Java, A Racer’s Edge, Subway, Copper Mountain, Solar Beach Tanning and Hair, A&W Restaurant, Giampietro Pizzeria, Wal-mart, Butterhorn Bakery and Cafe, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Team Managers, Shirt Off My Back, Abbey’s Coffee, Milagros of Colorado, A Big Hit, Breckenridge Ski Resort and Taco Bell. The Summit Learning Center will host a Murder Mystery Party from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Frisco Senior Center. Call (970) 668-4900 for more information.
