Backcountry and Bourbon to take place at Keystone’s Warren Station on Saturday

Warren Station’s 2024 Distilled Series with Backcountry and Bourbon is taking place this Saturday, Jan. 13.
Backcountry and Bourbon marks the first Spirits and Speaker Series event of the winter.
The Warren Station Distilled Series has expanded and evolved over the years. This year, attendees will get to hear two 30-minute talks presented by the Colorado Mountain School. The talks will dive deep into the heart of backcountry exploration, shedding light on the human factors that influence decisions and sharing anecdotes of being lost in the wilderness, according to a news release.
Keystone Resort’s ski patrol will also provide insight into what it takes to train an avalanche rescue dog.
To enhance the experience, there will be whisky tastings between the discussions.
A percentage of ticket proceeds will be donated to Colorado Rapid Avalanche Deployment.
There will also be swag giveaways from local businesses, sponsors and national brands including a mini Solo Stove and Pendleton duffle bags. A portion of event proceeds will benefit the Keystone Ski Patrol Avy Dog program.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event. The event historically sells out in advance.
Tickets and more information can be found at WarrenStation.com. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with speakers and tastings starting at 7 p.m.
