Barbara Good: SOS a wonderful program

After attending the University Graduation program at SOS Wednesday night, I would like to thank everyone involved – especially my children’s sherpas – Rochelle and Phil. What a difference you and everyone all make in a child’s life! My son and daughter walked out of there with such a feeling of accomplishment and self-esteem – their sherpas’ kind words about them still buzzing in their heads.

I would like to also thank Vail Resorts and Copper Mtn. for their continued support of SOS – without them, we would not have this unique program in our county. Sometimes we lose sight of what the big corporations do for us here. I do know that because of their involvement, hundreds of kids in Colorado walked away from this ski season with a new sense of self.

How fortunate to be part of such a great community!
