Beatles tribute band plays free on Silverthorne Pavilion lawn Sunday

SILVERTHORNE ” The Beatles tribute band Imagine will play a free outdoor concert on the Silverthorne Pavilion’s north lawn on Sunday from 4-6 p.m.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnic dinners and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be carried into the venue, but will be available for purchase during the show.

Concert-goers can arrive early to browse art selections from Art on a Whim and accessories from Silverthorne’s D’Vine Wine. The Wendy’s-Mobile will also be distributing coupons and other treats from the fast food restaurant.

The four lads of Imagine joined in 1993 and have performed more than 800 shows across the United States and abroad. Imagine has opened for the Beach Boys, Jay Leno, Chicago, Temptations, Badfinger, America, Glen Campbell, the Mandrells, the Shirelles, and the Buckinghams. They performed at the Nokia Sugar Bowl half-time show in New Orleans for a national TV audience, were the first act to ever perform at the 20,000 seat USANA amphitheater in Salt Lake City and have performed 21 shows at the Shanghai Music Festival in Shanghai, China.

Parking is available in the lots adjacent to Rainbow Drive, then take the foot bridge across the Blue River.
